Congess-ted

She holds her sign with such conviction that if I knew what CONGESS was, I would be for limiting its terms too.

Agreed Congess needs term limits. The Sente too while we're at it.

Think about what you're saying teabaggers: your heroes Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, and Trent Lott would have never been able to protect us from the fascist libruhls as long as they did if Congress had term limits.

You all know, right, that the House, the Senate and the Presidency already have term limits. You know that, right? Sheesh!

The number of years in a "term" is predefined (Represenatives: 2 years. Senators: 6 years.), but the number of terms an individual can serve in Congress (either house) is unlimited. Limiting the number of terms, however, is an enduringly popular concept, as this misguided individual (pictured) demonstrates.

So no, neither the House nor the Senate have term limits.

I screwed up on term limits. Too many pinot grigios, perhaps. Of course there are no term limits in the Senate or the House, although currently the Present can only mess things up for two four-year terms. Thanks, Anonymous, for setting the record straight, but what I want to know is, how could you manage to correct such a blunder without calling me names? Sheesh!
