Or they could be telling Obama to vote for a terrorist. It's hard to tell without proper punctuation.

Could have just misspelled terriest, but I have no idea what a terry cloth has to do with Obama.

I thought it was something to do with terriers, which can be pretty frightful, if not terrifying.

Terriers are often misunderstood. According to the AKC, they are feisty, energetic dogs whose ancestors were bred to hunt and kill vermin. http://www.akc.org/breeds/terrier_group.cfm
