What "sacrifies" do you refer to? The only sacrifice currently in the news would require the regulatory agencies to stop hiring pole dancers for their banquets, and neither the President nor the Congress seem particularly interested in imposing it. If you think paying your taxes is a sacrifice, or sending unemployed young people off to be killed in senseless wars, why don't you say so?
