Stupid Is The New Hip

Just because renowned english speaker Sarah Palin decided a real word wasn't good enough doesn't make refudiate a real word.

I can't seem to find the way to contact you privately to say this, so I'm using the most recent post... I think you would have a stronger leg to stand on while criticizing others' English if you hadn't inserted a hyphen into the word "wholeheartedly" in your 'Why' section on the right. I am not myself trying to cut you down; on the contrary, I am completely in favor of criticizing illiteracy on any sign. Just think it would help your credibility.

I agree totally with the anonymous comment directed at our host here. When the kettle calls the pot black, keep a stiff upper lip, strike while the iron is hot, kill the messenger and don't take any prisoners. I've always said that. Oh, and sentences normally end in one period, not three, and the "Why" section is actually the "Why?" section.

Sweetie, really, have you never seen an ellipsis before? And what is the point of the string of cliches? Is it your belief that I should not have used one? (puh-leeze don't harp on the missing accent either, kthxbai)

Why so much sarcasm aimed at my sincere attempt to help a fellow human avoid giving any potential opposition a route to discredit the justifiable criticism that appears on this blog? And while you were attacking my own grammar in a comment post, as opposed to the masthead of a blog, as it were, did you just run out of energy before dissecting my last sentence, or did you miss the missing pronoun? C'mon, whack me again!

Do you really think inaccuracies on a site devoted to criticizing inaccuracies should never be pointed out? Really?
