I believe he's referencing 2 things. Prop 8, and another prop that passed that required chickens have "enough room to stretch out their wings without touching another chicken or the sides of their cage, and the cages can't be stacked.

Gay people should be able to get married NOW, but this guy is a jerk to trivialize the importance of animal rights like that. Everyone's rights are equal.
People>Animals? You're small minded. The entire world isn't like your safe little suburban neighborhood, let's see you take out a pride of lions or a pack of hyenas. Sure you can overpower your domesticated dog and you can hunt your timid deer with ease, but human vs. wild animal rarely ends in favor of man. It's this false sense of power that makes us susceptible to failure. This d-bag in the photo is a perfect example, he thinks because he is a human he has more of a right to roam free than a chicken. You want to eat a chicken then go hunt, pluck and eat it but don't expect it to live in a cage so someone else can prepare your food.

Unfortunately, we are not allowed to make people like this useful by converting them into food... So yeah, try tell that to the chicken in the slaughterhouse, dick.
Dissent is the highest form of patriotism. I believe in this whole-heartedly.
And I appreciate anyone who has the gumption to protest despite their handicapped abilities to articulate what they oppose. Their right, and ours, to a freedom of speech is something few in this world can savor. Another right we should not forget to savor, though, is the right to mock them.
Some of these signs have been floating around the internet for a while and could be called classics, others are new. They just needed to be collected in one place. Please enjoy, and share it with your friends.
