While we're at it, let's just go ahead and say "No" to government funded, public schools too. They are clearly not doing much in the way of teaching history or government. And they aren't encouraging critical thinking skills, or higher level problem solving either...

Nice analogy...yeah, public schools are doing SUCH a great job, just ask the 60% that actually graduate.
i don't think it was intended as an analogy. that person is clearly a product of the crappy school system and they do not have critical thinking skills or a working knowledge of their government, or they wouldn't have made such a dumb sign
Wow, Bill Kurtis probably wrote this sign.
Hey Bill: The joke here is that Medicare already IS funded by the government because it's a government program, just like the public school system is a government program.
Hey moron who's too afraid to write your own name and has to hide behind your "anonymous" moniker, I was agreeing with the post...maybe you've heard of it...it's called sarcasm, idiot.
Apparently they are OK with the idea of non-government funded MEDICARE?
I-know-you-are-but-what-am-I?
I rest my case.
We're trying, I promise!
