Down with Medicare! Down with Medicaid! And while we're at it... Down with Social Security Income! This grandma can pick herself up by her bootstraps and get back to work if she wants healthcare!

Darn tootin'! Seriously....being Canadian, I don't have to worry too much about healthcare---but down in the U.S. old people die all the time due to lack of funds to pay for their own care (my man's mum is nurse down there so I hear about it all the time).

So yeah, STOOPID SIGN!

Your assuming she is on medicare or receiving social security.

Aelwyn - All the elderly have to die from is waiting 12 hours in the ER here in Canada, or perhaps just have their quality of life ruined by waiting 8-12 months for knee/hip replacement surgery.

Canada's Healthcare, a little bit better than the USA, but if the US can get a 2 tier system right, they win.
